Room 2

Term 3

Speeches:  Every student in Room 2 present a speech to the class in week 4.  All topics were varied and interesting. It was a tough competition with 8 year 6 and 6 year 7 & 8 students going through to the school final where 2 from each year group went on to represent the school in the Eastern Zones inter school competition.  It was great to see Neo Molina with his topic on ‘Viruses’ and Ben Anderson with his topic on ‘why girls are better than boys’ be chosen to go through along with Madison Phillips and her topic on ‘Siblings’. It was a great night at the finals with another top range of topics.  The over all winner for year 7 & 8 was Neo Molina. He was absolutely wrapped.

Mud Run

On Thursday 22 August Room 2 ventured over to Lake Ranch at Rotorua to take part in the Tough boy & girl challenge otherwise know as the Mud Run.  The class had a blast. It was fair to say it was extremely muddy as it rained for 3 days before hand. It was great to see 30 smiling faces coming out of the mud at the finish.
